Containers To Romania!
Packed Container For Romania Many items taken for granted in the United States are considered luxuries in Romania.  In fact, something as ordinary as a bar of soap is very difficult to get in Romania.  A piece of bread - a sweater - or some hard candy ... These are greatly appreciated!

Eastern Europe Aid Association (EEAA) uses containers to ship these and other items to Romania.  And God uses these containers to make a double blessing!
In Romania, the containers are delivered to the orphanage.  Since EEAA ships five or six containers each year, the state authorities have come to understand what the cargo will be and rarely slows its progress through customs.  Since the orphanages are operated as non-profit organizations, and EEAA is also exempt from taxes as a §501(c)3 organization, no duty or import taxes are charged.  All the cargo arrives quickly and safely to the intended receivers.  This is a great blessing from God. Sponsoring A Container For Romanian OrphanagesThe other way God blesses with containers is through the lives of those that participate in filling and packing them.   Many incredible miracles can be told about how God provides exactly what is needed - and does so in full measure, pressed down and overflowing! This too is a great blessing from God.

This is what it looks like when a church or group gets involved in filling a container.  They might bring stuff in cars, pickups and vans.  Then they pack the container as tightly as they can - so no room is wasted.  Just look at the smiling faces as they send boxes ofLoading Containers For Orphanages love in the form of clothing, non-perishable food, soap, wheat flour, pasta, pots and pans, pens and pencils, and lots of other things.

The packed container is trailered off to the harbor amid prayers and best wishes.  From Pennsylvania to Romania takes 5 - 6 weeks by ship at a cost of about $4,500.  When it arrives in Iasi, Romania, the workers at the orphanage sort and store the goods.  It is a requirement by law that the orphanage maintain supplies - in fact a reserve of at least six months!  God has been very good, and always makes provision.
